We met on 01.03.2022 and embarked on our first and longest date. Almost immediately, looking across at each other in Whiteladies Bosco, we knew we’d found something special.

Two weeks later, we’re in Tenby on our first weekend away. Being informed by a stray farmer that we were made for each other. That night Claire called her sister and daughters and made, the then outrageous, claim that she was going to marry this man.

Fast forward through two of the best years of our lives, through Vietnam, Canada, Geneva, through countless dinners where Claire has nodded through academic verbosity and Huw through long nights star jumping to Bristol nights out and Huw was sold the dream.

New Years Day 2024, Huw took Claire up to a big hill in Wales, sore-headed and confused why she had to spend the first day of the year in the cold and wet, but one dog-escape later, he proposed and she said YES!

So here we are, writing this on 12.11.24, unbelievably happy that we are about to celebrate our love and share the moment with our nearest and dearest.

It means so much to us that we can celebrate it with our lovely children, families and treasured friends.
